Brad Clayton

Brad Clayton

Oh baby, this here Brad Clayton is a songwriter and heartstring puller of the highest order. He’s been singing about the human experience, connecting with audiences in Alabama for the past 20 years. After quite a time releasing music on his own, his first proper release, Excommunicated, will be available on March 1st and will the debut release from The Minor Hymns Recording Company.

"Brad can spin a yarn from various points of view, giving the listener something more to come back to."

As with all good songwriters, Brad Clayton is challenging to define. Like a great Tom Waits tune, Brad can spin a yarn from various points of view, giving the listener something more to come back to. His arrangements can be lush with strings, pianos, feedback, and reverbs; but they all stem from the rock solid foundation of a voice and an acoustic guitar. Brad’s upcoming EP, Excommunicated, has been recorded over the past year and has been mixed and mastered by Matthew Williams at Sub Odin Studios in Austin, TX.

The EP is available via all major streaming platforms and on the media of the future, compact disc. All orders come with an artist curated hymnal book that contains lyrics, photos, and artwork. There is also a "black box" limited edition, but it sold out during pre-order.
